We Love Bury St Edmunds!

Welcome To The Playground in Barrow

Even though the nights may be darker and it’s getting chilly. There is still some lovely days to go outside and enjoy the area whilst getting fitter.

This month we look at a place which has grown considerably in popularity due to its uniqueness within the obstacle course community.

The Playground is just inside Barrow around 10mins out of Bury town centre and has lots of parking available.

Assault Your Senses

1km, 25 obstacles that will “assault your senses” which include jumping, climbing, running, sliding (new obstacle just added!) all of which really give you a full body workout as well as conquering some fears!!

Some of the obstacle 10ft wall, Cargo net and frame, Irish table, Vertical cargo net, Rope climb, Daddy bear, Hangover wall, Ramp etc.

The Playground also has picnic benches, toilets and an area for hosing yourself down after you have played in the 2 mud/water ditches.

There are always friendly and knowledgeable instructors “playmakers” around to help, encourage and guide you around. And for the more competitive ones of you they carry out timed laps for you to compete in and gain prominence on the leader board.

Photo Opportunity

The whole course finishes on the Ninja Warrior style vertical ramp which is a great photo opportunity.

This is really a great place for all ages and abilities to challenge yourself.

We are lucky to have this facility close to Bury which others travel to from far and wide.

It is open to pay and play most days and also available to hire for private parties. All bookings can be made online.

They have a special offer in the children’s October half term 11-12.30 every week day where the parent/guardian of the child goes free and children cost £12 8-12yrs.

Go and have a go and Assault your Senses.
