You might have noticed some colouring in activity in Kings Road this week. Denny Brothers, the well known town centre printers has been changing their windows, and this time with a them that is totally awesome. We call it #bseAwesome
The window design is a tryptic, 3 windows with images in each, which when viewed together give an overview story of the original patron saint of England, our King Edmund.
In the Facebook Group, “We Love Bury St Edmunds!” we have been covering this story as the images began to take shape and emerge from their windows. I popped in on Wednesday to see them and chatted with their manager Joy-Star Denny.
Not only that, but Denny Brothers also donated our first raffle prize for our Christmas Party, “A Night 2 Remember 2” This year, all funds raised from the raffle will be divided between the My WiSH Charity for the West Suffolk Hospital and Gatehouse.
Thank you so much to the staff at Dennys, who always go the extra mile to make sure you are well looked after, and also thank you to the skills of Kim O’Brien who framed our lovely 4 piece of the decades prints.
