We Love Bury St Edmunds!

Today, I had the great honour of being able to open the Relay For Life (Cancer Research) at Nowton Park.

The Relay for Life! What an amazing day meeting truly inspirational people. I had received an email from David Cianciola who is one of the main organisers for this event. He told me that last year, 240 people participated which included 49 cancer survivors and between them they had raised £26,000.

But this is 2017, and over 340 people were taking part and close to 70 cancer survivors as well. It was difficult to get an accurate figure, as numbers were increasing as more people signed up on the day. The goal for this year is £31,000
